About George Pearsons WHO AM I?: I consider myself to be an extremely blessed man. Having spiritually grown up around the Copeland family has been the highlight of my life. The insight into ministry and God's Word through Brother and Sister Copeland over these last 34 years has prepared me for what I am doing today. What an honor. What a thrill. What a ride! MY JOURNEY: The Lord knew me before the foundation of the world. That is why, as a child, He placed the desire to pastor in my heart. Following high school graduation, I attended art school. I received Jesus as my Lord in 1972 while in art school. From there, I attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa where I met the most wonderful girl named Terri Copeland. We married and have been working for KCM in various positions ever since. In 1993, we accepted the pastorate of EMIC. I can honestly say, I love what I do. Pastoring EMIC fits like a glove. WHAT I DO: So, as I said, I have been Senior Pastor at EMIC since 1993. I am so thankful for the honor of serving God's people, and loving and caring for them. My lifelong scripture for pastoring is Luke 22:27 (New Living Translation). I am among you as one who serves.
