1888. New Edition. 408 pages. Fully bound in black leather. Gilt lettering. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Moderate water staining to front hinges and first few pages of textblock. Hinges are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Textblock edges dyed gilt. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate peeling to spine and corners. Visible wear marks to boards.
