All for a Dead Man's Leg

Meet Harriet Ruby, an MIT graduate with a degree in languages, whose life has been good but ordinary and predictable. Wanting new experiences before settling down to career and family, she accepts a position as a tour director in Europe.
Meet Will Talbot, a handsome Europol spy and covert government operative with a dark troubled past, major trust issues, and dissociative amnesia. Driven by guilt over something he believes he did, he has a penchant for rescuing innocent victims.
Harriet's first solo stint as a tour director Morocco goes well until they get lost in the walled market in Tangier. There, one of her tourists becomes ill. Harriet needs to find a doctor, can't speak Arabic, and doesn't know how to get out of the walled city. A handsome, mysterious stranger, Will Talbot, examines the tourist, pronounces him dead, and offers to help her smuggle the body out of Morocco.

R. ANN SIRACUSA is a California girl (you have to guess what the R. stands for) involved in many activities, but her two favorite are traveling the world and writing fiction. This talented author combines those passions into novels which transport readers to exotic settings, immerse them in romance, intrigue, and foreign cultures. After receiving a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley, she traveled to Italy. There she worked in Rome for an Italian architecture and urban planning firm and married the Sicilian policeman she met at the Fountain of Love. When she and her husband returned to the United States, they settled down to career and family; but the travel bug never left her. While working for thirty-seven years in her chosen career, she made time to travel and began to write fiction that incorporated many of her experiences and observations. Today, she is retired, lives in San Diego, California, and writes full time (which is as many hours as an Italian husband, three grown children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren will allow on any given day). Her first novel (a Mafia thriller) was published in 2008. Since then nine additional works have been published.
