F. Eugene Barber has written several short stories-this is his fifth novel. Mr. Barber earned an AS in engineering, a BA, and an MBA. He was born on a small farm in the Midwest at the start of the Great Depression and attended a rural school with ten other students ranging from the first grade to the eighth. Mr. Barber served in the Air Force during the Korean War as a B-36 engine mechanic and Crew Chief, upon discharge; he worked in the Aerospace industry most of his adult life. He is often a consultant on FAA and DOD aircraft projects. He has traveled all over the world, including South and Central America, Europe, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, South Africa, Asia, and Australia. He and his wife now live in Nevada.
