Deadline First, Death Later

Michael was supposed to be writing the greatest serial killer novel ever told.

Instead, he may be helping to create one.

A once-promising author struggling through creative failure receives a mysterious message from an anonymous stranger claiming to be a serial killer. The proposition is as impossible as it is irresistible: help perfect the art of murder, and in return receive an unprecedented look into the mind of a real killer—enough to write the masterpiece that has always eluded him.

When a gruesome public massacre mirrors advice Michael thought he had given only in a drunken dream, fiction and reality collide. With no evidence that the conversations ever occurred and no way to prove the killer even exists, Michael is drawn into a deadly partnership where every suggestion carries a horrifying consequence.

As bodies begin to surface and a nation becomes captivated by an elusive murderer, Michael must decide whether he is merely documenting evil...or quietly becoming its architect.

Deadline First, Death Later is a chilling psychological thriller exploring obsession, morality, artistic ambition, and the terrifying cost of chasing greatness when inspiration comes from the darkest corners of the human mind.
