Before there was The Walking Dead there was Deadworld. First published in the 1986, Deadworld is one of indie comics longest running horror series with over 100 issues and graphic novels released and over 1,000,000 copies sold. While being considered the 'godfather' of all the zombie apocalyptic comics that followed. Here are all the original Deadworld series collected into a series of Deadworld: Archives books!
In BOOK THREE, containing comic issues #9-14 of the first volume, the remaining teens find themselves trapped in the city with both zombies and humans who want to kill them. King Zombie leads an attack on the city and the teens see their opportunity for escape. But not all of them will make it.
"...an intriguing story line and twist on the standard zombie apocalypse." - Mighty Ink.
"This is a fine zombie comic. It's grim, about as grim as anything old Kirkman could think up. But it's got a lot of different plot lines. There are tons of characters to follow and keep track of. There are plots-a-plenty." - Giaco Furino, Fearnet com
