Item description from seller

An open letter (?) beginning "Dear Sisters," from Quebecois feminists explaining the relationship between feminism and the FLQ. Written after the invocation of the War Measures Act in Oct. 1970 following the kidnapping and execution of Minister of Labour, Pierre LaPorte, and the kidnapping of British Trade Commissioner, James Cross, the letter details the state oppression of FLQ activists before vaguely tying it in with the oppression of women.
