The lurking figure in the house, and the author's eccentricities and disappearance have her investigating. Ex-library with stamps to the rear end paper and upper edge of the text block. Bumped and rubbed with wear at the edges, front hinge cracked. Jacket has been trimmed and affixed to a stiff paper backing with the flaps glued to the pastedowns. Rubbed and chipped.
