Bound in full calf of the period with morocco title labels in gilt. the former copy of Joseph Livingston Tillinghast who served as a state representative of Rhode Island from 1837-1843, with his signature on the spines of each volume and the front board of Vol. 1. All 3 volumes are in VERY GOOD condition showing the bindings and extremities well rubbed with some surface scuffing, the earliest and latest parts of the text-block with marginal foxing, otherwise the binding is strong and tight, the text is unmarked, and the boards remain bright and distinct. As pictured.
