Complete two-volume set of 'The Decameron of Giovanni Boccaccio' with 15 tissue-guarded photogravure illustrations from drawings by Louis Chalon, text translated by J. M. Rigg. Pp. xxii, 332, 9 plates (including frontispiece); xvi, 404, 6 plates. Bound in white cloth with gilt titles and decoration to the spine, gilt rules and fleur-de-lis to the front boards, printed on laid paper with deckled edges. Large Octavo 24 x 16 cm In just about very good condition, marks to white exteriors, toned pages with a little light foxing, bindings firm a square.
