Giovanni Boccaccio's famous Decameron is a collection of short stories, told over a span of 10 days by 10 people who were secluded near Florence during the period of the Black Death. The series was completed about 1353. Translated (and with translator's note) from the Italian by Frances Winwar; includes detailed table of contents, preface and concluding note by the author. Complete and unabridged. Volume wrapped in red, black and blue jacket variant.
