Two very good books in white buckram covers with gilt titles and decoration to spine and borders fleur de lys to front; covers clean with minor marks only; spines slightly canted. Internally very good indeed and free of inscriptions; bindings tight; minimal foxing, a very few scattered spots mainly to Volume II; 15 photogravure plates all with their tissue guards; top edges gilt others semi-trimmed. A most attractive set.
