Decentralized AI Networks and Blockchain Integration: Building secure, transparent AI ecosystems with blockchain technology (English Edition)

Artificial intelligence and blockchain are two of the most transformative technologies reshaping industries today. The convergence of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology is revolutionizing modern computing by solving critical issues like data monopolies, security vulnerabilities, and single points of failure.

This book systematically guides you through the entire landscape of decentralized artificial intelligence. It starts with the core foundations of Web3, blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and distributed storage systems like IPFS and Arweave. You will then explore decentralized network design, peer-to-peer protocols, and hands-on smart contract development using Solidity to manage AI model registration, access control, and automated payments. You will discover how to build sustainable token economies with utility tokens, staking models, and DAO governance structures. The book covers cutting-edge cryptography, alongside smart contract security auditing, threat detection, production CI/CD pipelines, and real-world enterprise case studies across healthcare, finance, supply chain, gaming, and scientific research.

By the end of this book, readers will be equipped to design and deploy secure, transparent decentralized AI systems. You will gain hands-on skills in smart contract development, federated learning, privacy engineering, and token economy design, positioning you at the forefront of the next wave of AI innovation.

Ashish Manohar Jadhav is a senior technology leader with 30+ years of experience shaping enterprise-scale digital transformation, AI-driven platforms, and blockchain-based regulatory systems operating at national and hyperscale levels. He currently serves as senior vice president and head of technology for the Digital Business Group of India's largest private sector conglomerate (Fortune 500), where he steers mission-critical platform strategy across complex, regulated domains. Ashish is widely recognized for his ability to convert business strategy, regulatory mandates, and risk considerations into resilient, cloud-native platforms, including systems processing 100+ million transactions. As chief architect for large-scale B2B, B2C, and G2C ecosystems, he has led the adoption of Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures (Kafka), microservices, APIs, AI-driven decision intelligence, and open-source technologies to deliver scalability, reliability, and governance. A defining achievement of his career is leading the blockchain-based Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) platform implementing India's telecom regulations (TCCCPR, 2018) to combat unsolicited SMS and voice communications. Delivered as part of a telecom operators' consortium, this nationwide RegTech platform enabled digital consent governance, real-time message scrubbing, and regulator-grade compliance reporting. This established a landmark blockchain deployment at national transaction scale and reinforced trust across enterprises, consumers, and regulators. Ashish has also led enterprise AI platform strategy, embedding predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation into high-volume transactional platforms to support both commercial outcomes and regulatory compliance. He brings deep expertise in technology governance, risk, and compliance, with his leadership further extends to HRMS, procurement digitization (Source-to-Pay), RFID-enabled supply chains, and large-scale workforce ecosystem platforms. Ashish holds a bachelor of engineering and a master of technology, along with executive education in strategy and leadership from IIM Indore. He is certified in Azure cloud, blockchain architecture, Agile (Scrum Master), DevOps, and API design and architecture. An active industry thought leader, Ashish is a trusted advisor to advisory and governing boards navigating AI adoption, cloud transformation, blockchain-driven regulation, and hyperscale digital ecosystems.
