This book takes a look at how the American Constitution and the Declaration came to be. Futhering its inception, it investigates whether the documents were brokered under false pretenses. The Articles of Confederation were to be discussed and amendments to be suggested at the Philadelphia Continental Convention. What ensued was an entirely new document. Earl Latham offers his take on the legal implications the forefathers took in forging a new document. Some consider Latham's review as one of the best legal opinions of this issue.
