Following a copy and short history of the Declaration of Independence, there is a history and roster of the 142nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry of which Warren was the colonel. From Fredericksburg on the 142nd fought in all the battles of the Army of the Potomac. The next 31 pages is a description of the Battle of Gettysburg, followed by about 50 pages of songs and poems from Battle Hymn of the Republic to Auld Lang Syne. Very good copy of the hard back book, with no dust jacket. Gilt letttering on the front cover includes a flag and the words Rally Round the Flag Boys, on the spine is written, War History, Drama, Songs and Anecdotes . 190 pages.
