First American edition. Book has very light wear. DJ has some light wear to upper spine. Subtitles: Fact-fict-ion Solution to a Classic Problem, A New Ending to Dickens' Unfinished Mystery. One of over 200 attempts to complete Drood, left about half finished when Dickens died in 1870. Includes a 96pp. investigation into the writing of the original, plus 112pp. attempt at a completion. Nice copy.
