She is a licensed lay minister at her local parish church, leadingworship and actively involved with children and youth work, and enjoyssinging, drama and dance (which comes in very useful when co-ordinatingthe children-led Nativity service each year). Mique Moriuchi is an award-winning illustrator with international appeal, working for companies in Korea, New Zealand, the US and the UK. She has won the White Raven Award 2009 and her work was selected for the Illustration Exhibition at the 2009 Bologna Children's Book Fair. She has aMasters in Sequential Design and Illustration and uses acrylic paint andcollage in her pictures.
