Deep Learning Paradigms and Neural Computation

Deep learning and neural computation represent one of the most transformative developments in modern science and technology. At its core, deep learning is a subset of artificial intelligence that focuses on building computational models inspired by the structure and function of the human brain. These models, known as artificial neural networks, are designed to learn patterns from data in a hierarchical manner, enabling machines to perform tasks that traditionally required human intelligence. Neural computation, on the other hand, is a broader field that studies how neural systems process information, both in biological organisms and artificial systems. Together, these domains form the foundation of intelligent systems that are capable of perception, reasoning, decision-making, and adaptation.
