First US edition, first printing. A very good plus book in a very good dustjacket. The book's blue cloth covers are clean and bright. There is scattered foxing on the top edge and foreedge and 2 corners are tapped. In a red and yellow jacket (spine is somewhat faded) with wear and rubbing at the extremities - no paper loss though. The author's rather scarce first novel, a highly regarded spy story.
