Printed for Messrs. Grierson, M'Kenzie, and Moore. Pages: (6), 329, (1). 210x130mm. Contemporary full calf, spine lettered gilt. Originally published in 1732, this is an outlying provincial edition of the Bishop of Exeter's response to Matthew Tindal's "Christianity as Old as the Creation", issued over 50 years after the initial controversy. An early gathering is loose, some wear and rubbing to binding, but overall a good copy of an uncommon 18th century Dublin imprint.
