About the Author

William Whalen was the court-appointed public defender for Donald Harvey. He was with the Hamilton County (Ohio) Prosecutor�s office for fourteen years, two as assistant municipal prosecuting attorney and twelve as assistant prosecutor. Since returning to private practice in 1984, he has specialized in criminal defense.

Bruce Martin brings broad and diverse career experience to his writing; he has been a chemical engineer, human relations manager, behavioral scientist, college professor and corporate executive, as well as a mystery writer whose work has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Mystery Readers Journal, Murderous Intent Mystery Magazine, and others, as well as two published books. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio.
