According to the authors, the doctrine of inerrancy has been standard, accepted teaching for more than 1,000 years. Roach (PhD, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary) is senior editor of The Journal of the International Society of Christian Apologetics and adjunct professor at The College at Southeastern in Wake Forest, NC, and Capital Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. Dr. Roach has written numerous articles and book chapters, and he is the coeditor of Vital Issues in the Inerrancy Debate and author of Hermeneutics as Epistemology.
