Nothing has gone right since he dumped his high school sweetheart on the eve of their prom 40 years ago.

That girl is Julie Cooper. Julie has been struggling to raise two kids on her own since her husband was whapped to death in a tragic car wash accident. Now the kids are gone and she's lonely.

When Nate learns Julie is single and working on the campus of their old high school, he goes back to find her, only to learn that she's engaged to a schmuck of a fiance. If he wants to write a happily-ever-after ending to his life's story, Nate will have to torpedo Julie's engagement and win her over before she marries the wrong guy. Again!
