About the Author

Kennard Wiggins is a retired Delaware Air National Guard officer. Wiggins serves as the vice chairman of the Delaware Military Heritage and Education Foundation, president of the Board of Trustees for the Cecil County Public Library and vice chairman of the Cecil County Planning Commission. He is the author of Delaware Air National Guard, Delaware Army National Guard, Dover Air Force Base, co-author of Delaware Aviation, and a contributing author to Histories of Newark, 1758-2008.
