About the Author
Wilburta (Billie) Q. Lindh, CMA, is an instructor and former program director of the Medical Assisting Program at Highline Community College, Des Moines, Washington. Billie has taught at Highline for ten years, and is a member of the Sea-Tac Chapter of the American Association of Medical Assistants. She is a frequent lecturer at AAMA seminars on the importance of communication and is co-author of three other medical assistant texts, including Therapeutic Communications for Allied Health Professions by Delmar Publishers.
