Democratic Chemistry Classroom Environment Inventory (DCEI)

Becoming an engaged democratic citizen begins by practicing democracy in the classroom. This book describes the development of a new instrument for assessing students’ perceptions of the psychosocial environment that should exist in democratic chemistry classrooms, and reports comprehensive validation information for a large sample of chemistry university students. Zahra Eskandari is a PhD student in Biochemistry in Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey.
