Item description from seller

Date and place of publication are estimates/surmises; neither is stated. 6-1/8" x 9", 123pp incl. front matter. Staple bound signatures in uncoated printed card stock cover. Four folded tables bound in. Cover is noticeably worn, with rust stains above the staples, and an old cataloguing sticker still mostly affixed to the spine towards bottom. Considerable edge wear all around, and the cover is split about 1-1/2" down from the top at the spine. Staple binding is oxidizing but remains sound. Previous exposure to moisture at the spine has resulted in a stain running the length of the spine about 1/2" into the margin for the first few pages. Smaller, fainter moisture stain affects first half dozen pages. Otherwise, a few marginal marks (not notes or comments) on a few pages.

Store description

Canada's oldest independent bookstore, the People's Co-operative Bookstore Association was formed in 1945 by a broad coalition of Vancouver's progressive movements, from trade unionists and Marxists to social democrats and Christian social justice activists. Owned and operated by its member-shareholders, it is a registered co-op operating under the Co-operative Associations Act of British Columbia. Anyone can join. Since 1983, the People's Co-op Bookstore has been located at 1391 Commercial, in the heart of Commercial Drive. Open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week, the People's Co-op offers a selection of 20,000 new and used books at its brick and mortar location, with a selection of specialized and uncommon books listed on our Abebooks account.
