Demystifying Career Paths After Graduate School : A Guide for Second Language Professionals in Higher Education

This edited book offers concrete information and useful suggestions to graduate students who are seeking employment at institutions of higher education in North America and other parts of the world. Ryuko Kubota is a Professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at the University of British Columbia, Canada. She has taught courses on language education and Japanese as a foreign language in the United States and Canada as well as English as a foreign language in Japan. Her research focuses on critical approaches to language education, especially on culture, race, multiculturalism and second language writing.?
