Density in Relation to Built-Forms and Spatial Quality of Urban Spaces

This is a book that tells us clearly how far the elements of spatial quality of Urban Spaces are being influenced by Density and Patterns of Built-Forms. As Urban Design-Planner, I Suggest that Urban Design and Planning should ‘start with proper computation of Density thresholds’ to determine patterns of Built-Forms so as to offer better quality urban spaces in the built-environments. So, this book has recommended ‘Start planning and design with Appropriate application of Density’, ‘Density as prescription rather than Description’.” Daniel Lirebo Sokido (PhD Scholar in School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, India)
