Renan Rangel Bonamigo, MD by Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre, Brazil (UFCSPA, 1991), with Residency in Internal Medicine and Dermatology at the Clinical Hospital of Porto Alegre; Master and PhD in Medical Sciences by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 1998; 2003). Specialist by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (SBD, 1997). Qualification by the Brazilian Society of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (1998). Former coordinator of the SBD Department of Skin Allergy (2007-2009, 2020-2022). Associate Editor of the Anais Brasileiros de Dermatologia between 2009-2016. Member of the SBD Education Department between 2017-2019. He is Professor at UFRGS, teaches in the Pathology Postgraduate Program at UFCSPA, and in the Medical Sciences Postgraduate Program at UFRGS. He is a preceptor of the Dermatology Residency Program at the HCPA and is the Head of the Dermatology Service at Santa Casa de Porto Alegre Hospital, Brazil. He has authored more than 150 publications in the field of Dermatology.
