No page numbers. 1924 Publication. The collection of personal objects belonging to Napoleon that returned from St. Helena with the Abbe Vignali. One of the items that draws most attention in the collection is the mummified phallus of Napoleon; described in item no. 9 as a tendon. Further, the provenance of the items is detailed and executed in favour of the last owner in 1916. Book description: Grey softbound with stamped/embossed title on front cover, double stapled at fold, illustrated text with (3) plates. Dimensions: 8 1/4" x 6 3/4" x 3/16". Book condition: Fine. A gift quality copy. Note: The current owner of extraordinary relic no. 9 is Evan Lattimer, of Englewood, New Jersey, inherited from her father the foremost urologist of his time, Dr. John Kingsley Lattimer. The penis has been in the Lattimer family collection for over 30 years and never made it into the Rosenbach Museum collection of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; which was intended. Language: eng.
