Babson Collection of Newtonia includes a library of more than 1,000 volumes of English and foreign language editions of Newton?s works (many of which are autographed and annotated in Newton?s hand), manuscripts, engravings, artifacts, and other Newton memorabilia, including a death mask that originally belonged to Thomas Jefferson. The collection was acquired through the efforts of Grace Knight Babson, first wife of American entrepreneur Roger Babson, and is the largest source of Newton materials in the United States" (from the collection website). This is the first edition of the catalogue of the collection. It includes separate sections on all Newton's published books, works edited by him, the Mint, bibliographies and booksellers' catalogues, biographies, local history, histories and textbooks of mathematics and science, material related to the Flamsteed controversy, books from Newton's own library, portarats, views and maps, medals.
