Second edition. Revised from the original 1935 edition. Quarto. Maroon cloth with gilt letters on spine and front board housed in a maroon cloth slipcase. Top edge gilt. Illustrated with twelve color plates and thirty-nine monochrome plates including the frontispiece. Cloth is foxed, else near fine in a very good foxed slipcase. This is number 388 out of four hundred thirty-five copies prepared for subscribing members of India House.
