Maybe We Deserve...

Portia Davenport-Ross has built a life most people admire -- a thriving business, a beautiful home, and a reputation that commands respect. But when the nights grow quiet and the world slows down, one truth refuses to stay buried: Success can’t replace the love she never fully let go of.
Devin Ross isn’t the man she divorced twenty years ago. He’s in his grown man era now... grounded and still unapologetically himself, and he's also the only man who sees her beyond the titles, the image, and the life she carefully constructed.
When their daughter's birthday dinner turns into late-night conversations, undeniable chemistry, and a series of intentional Friday date nights, they’re forced to confront what they once were… and what they could still become.
After seven exclusive Friday nights, Portia and Devin must decide: Can they move past their previous mistakes… or is forgiveness too much to ask?
