2nd impression. Blue hardcover with gilt titles, in dust-jacket. 167 x 240 x 38mm. 285pp. B/w diagrams and photos; with index. Jacket discoloured, with scuffs and tears at spine-ends, and small area of loss at bottom of rear panel; ends of spine slightly bumped and discoloured; pages browned on edges, with occasional staining/foxing; previous owner writing in pencil to title-page and rear endpaper (with some red ink to the latter), and occasionally throughout.
