Seeking Balance In the Church Design recounts one church’s journey from a dream that began in the hearts of a few young adults to what is now a thriving congregation on Long Island’s South Shore. Through sound biblical reasoning and a dose of humor, Pastor Brian McMillan describes CenterPoint’s unique model of doing church: a blend of attractional and missional church characteristics. Design is a great read for any Christian, pastor or church leader. "...a book that can only be described as… “FRESH.” This is not an already outdated book of “tired” ideas that once worked somewhere else for somebody else. This is a “fresh” word about what God is doing at CenterPoint Church, and what He wants to do everywhere in our day..." - Dr. Ron Walborn, Academic Dean of Alliance Theological Seminary "...Design is a must-read for leaders, aspiring church planters and anyone interested in what God is doing on Long Island.”- Bert Crabbe, Lead Pastor of True North Community Church, "This is not a 'how to' book on church growth, but the revealing of one pastor’s heart’s desire to know Christ and see as many people as possible discover the unmatched joy of surrendering our lives to him..." - Steve Tomlinson, Senior pastor of Shelter Rock Church, "...a journey of sitting at the feet of Jesus and discerning the Master’s heart..." - Bruce Terpstra, District Superintendent of the Metro Christian and Missionary Alliance
