How to Design Innovations and Solve Business and Personal Problem. Subtitle: Book 3 in the trilogy of motivational nonfiction short stories to teach logic, creativity, new skills, and self-esteem that would change readers lives. This book contained a road map to innovation. From author’s examples of her innovations readers will learn: how to create innovations; how to solve business and personal problems; how to understand 3 types of economies: market, planning, and mixed; capture what capitalism, socialism, and communism are; how to calculate interest earned on money; how to look at the messengers; that nothing happened by an accident, there is a reason for that; and how skills are transferable from one industry to another. Innovations are not designed in a vacuum. They are functions of the outside world, such as economical and political environments inside the USA and in the world. To solve any problem, 1st, one must “look through the window” to see what is going on outside—another skill introduced in this book. Sadly, today’s generation is oblivious to the outside world. “Doped” on social media, texting, Dancing with the Stars, and the Kardashians, they lack the skills needed to survive, solve problems, and thrive. The author would like to see this tragic trend reversed. She challenges readers to differentiate between true knowledge and the fluff of social media and to choose what information, skills, and knowledge they need to put into their brains’ databases to help them navigate this challenging, unstable, and changing world and to better run their lives and the country. Books by Alla P. Gakuba, BSCE, MAS, PhD, the trilogy. Each book has 20 nonfiction short stories: Book 1: What Is Life? What Is Happiness? Book 2: A Person Is a Product of Time, Place, and Circumstances. Book 3: How to Design Innovations and Solve Business and Personal Problems. Are available on Amazon and worldwide wherever books sold. www.AllaPGakuba.com

About the Author
How to Design Innovations and Solve Business and Personal Problems by Alla P. Gakuba, BSCE, MAS, PhD. This is Book 3 of nonfiction short stories, the trilogy.
In this book the author's objective is practical: from her personal examples of innovations readers will learn how to design innovations and solve business and personal problems.
Author made a discovery that Skills Are Transferable from One Industry to Another (the name of one story in this book) when, by an accident, she changed her field from structural engineering to health care.
Soon, to solve some health care problems, she created several innovations. One of these innovations sparked into an entirely new industry. To create new innovations, any field require the same set of skills: creativity and common sense.
Look Through the Window--is another story in this book. The world population has exploded to more than 7.2 billion inhabitants. All of the world's raw resources have almost been exhausted, and an environmental holocaust looms ahead.
Today, 1 in 2 Americans is living in poverty or near the poverty line; the middle class has disappeared. The USA is sinking. It is the greatest debtor nation in the world. It has over $19 trillion in ticking debt. Americans have $17 trillion in growing personal debt and $1.1 trillion in student loans.
How can one live and survive in such a difficult world? How we can stop the USA from sinking?
Lesson in point is, today many people, especially the younger generations, stopped learning. Instead, their brains and storage database are "Doped" on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, texting, apps, hip-hop, Disney Word fantasies, Dancing with the Stars, video games, e-mails.
They need to have their energy channel into productive pursuit to acquire real knowledge how to create innovations and to solve their personal and business problems, and problems of their country and the world.
