Hey, young designer—ever wonder how buildings are made? Join Architect Adventurer Albert B. Squid and find out as you become his official architecture assistant!

In this fun and hands-on activity book, you’ll help design a multi-purpose building with art galleries and cozy artist apartments—seven stories high! Work side-by-side with Albert as you come up with ideas, draw your own floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, and even perspective views using easy-to-follow templates.

But that’s not all—you’ll turn your drawings into a real 3D model! Just cut out the pre-sized pieces, follow the simple instructions, and build your very own scale model of the building. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of architecture and design in a fun and creative way—perfect for kids ages 8–12!

Let’s Design a Multi-Purpose Building is the first book in the Let’s Design a Building series, where every book takes you to a new place in the world to design a different kind of building. With skill levels from easy to hard, the adventure grows with you. So grab your tools—it’s time to build your imagination!
