Design and Origin of Birds

Birds are among the worlds most beautiful and beloved parts of creation, so it is not surprising that they have been so widely studied. They have been carved and painted since earliest times, on rocks, temples, and associated with pyramids and religions, art and literature, sport and farming, war and peace, and even heaven and hell. Here is a close examination of their wonderful aerial lifestyle and unique, warm-blooded designoften so different from the cold-blooded dinosaurs that they are claimed to have accidentally evolved from! This fascinating and beautifully-produced book brings to light important facts from the world of science and is illustrated throughout by the author.
