O'Donnell is a respected food professional and long-time spokesman for Corning's Consumer Products, and his knowledge is evident throughout the book, from his informative headnotes to useful tip boxes to helpful charts on vegetable cookery and other topics. Many of the recipes are illustrated by color photographs; in addition to a chapter of Fast and Fabulous menus, there are game plans and menus for a number of special meals as well. Recommended.
