This book provides guidance on the interpretation and use of EN 1994-2 and presents worked examples. It deals with the issues that are encountered in typical steel and concrete composite bridge designs, and explains the relationships between EN 1994-1-1, EN 1994-2 and the other Eurocodes. There are references to EN 1992 for concrete structures and EN 1993 for steel structures and the guide includes the application of their provisions in composite structures. This book also provides background information and references to enable users of Eurocode 4 understand the origin and objectives of its provisions.
