Bernstein holds a BA in accounting from Michigan State University and a Masters in taxation from Golden State University.
David Binns currently serves as Associate Director of the Foundation for Enterprise Development. A published author and frequent speaker on issues related to employee ownership and enterprise development, Mr. Binns has consulted with a variety of companies, both domestically and internationally, on the legal, financial and human resource implications of the structure and implementation of employee ownership plans. He has also been actively involved in efforts to promote the use of employee ownership as a means to facilitate privatization, defense conversion and economic development in several foreign countries. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
Marshal Hyman is a Senior Tax Consultant for the Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, he spent his career as a corporate tax advisor, including time with "Big Five" accounting firms and a multinational corporation, where he was responsible for the creation and implementation of an ESOP. He has a BS from Temple University in and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh. Marshal is a Certified Public Accountant and has been admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
Martin Staubus is a Senior Consultant for the Foundation for Enterprise Development. He has seventeen years experience in human resources and organizational effectiveness. Mr. Staubus has a Law degree in employee benefits and labor law, a MBA degree in organizational behavior and development and he has been certified as Senior Professional in Human Resources by SHRM.
