Designing Tomorrow: Architecture, Construction & Engineering Adventures (Zynix's Travels)

What if the future of humanity depended on a group of middle school students?

When a mysterious interstellar explorer named Zynix crash-lands at the Future Skills Academy in New Mexico, everything changes. Sent from the advanced world of Veloria to study how civilizations prepare their next generation of builders, creators, and innovators, Zynix expects to find ordinary students learning ordinary skills.

Instead, Zynix discovers something extraordinary.

At the academy, students are designing smart cities, building robots, welding massive structures, programming drones, engineering renewable energy systems, and solving real-world problems that could shape the future of Earth itself. But when hidden alien technology buried beneath the desert begins to awaken, the students must use everything they know about engineering, teamwork, creativity, and leadership to stop a growing threat known as the Null Collective.

As mysterious signals spread across the academy and technology systems begin failing, Zynix and the students are pulled into a high-stakes adventure filled with futuristic cities, underground secrets, advanced technology, explosive challenges, and discoveries that could change humanity forever.

Packed with action, humor, innovation, and unforgettable characters, Zynix’s Travels: Designing Tomorrow combines cinematic science fiction with real-world STEM and Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathways in a way that inspires readers to imagine themselves as future engineers, builders, coders, designers, inventors, and leaders.

Perfect for fans of fast-paced middle-grade adventures, futuristic technology, robotics, engineering, and immersive worldbuilding, this exciting first book in the Zynix’s Travels series proves that the future is not something we wait for—it’s something we build.
