Destination Desert

In each place, explorers discover the adaptations plants and animals such as cacti, shrubs, camels, ibex, and lizards have made to survive in these dry places! Plus, find out what humans can do to keep deserts from taking over too much of the land.

Laura is a long-time member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She lives in Boulder, Colorado.

Lex Cornell is a graduate of The Center for Cartoon Studies.
