G/G, used, hc, blue cloth covered boards with red text to spine, 226 pages. Interior clean, paper slightly toned due to war time quality of paper. There is a small spot of discoloration on the bottom margin of page 226, not affecting the text. Dust jacket is not price clipped, spine is slightly sunned. Wear to corners and edges. Smallish chip to head and tail of spine. This book is the basis for the 1944 film staring Cary Grant, John Garfield and Alan Hale. This was the authors second novel.
