Pulled from the sea by a fisherman when she was a baby, Ica is convinced she is the daughter of the god Poseidon and born to accomplish great heroic feats. Sold as a slave to Jason of Massalon, Ica, disguised as a boy, trains to be a soldier. Jason, with his eye on ruling his country, wants to wed the princess Daphne. When King Minos attacks, and Ica is ordered to guard the princess, it is a task she takes to heart, regardless of her budding feelings for Jason. Though circumstances lead Jason to believe Ica is a traitor, he only realizes his feelings for her when he suffers a loss of memory due to an accident while a prisoner of Minos.
