The Destiny of Britain and America (Paperback)

Paperback. "The Destiny of Britain and America" explores the Providential role of the English-speaking peoples in the global landscape through the lens of British-Israelism. Written under the pseudonym "the roadbuilder," this work delves into the belief that the inhabitants of Great Britain and the United States are the literal descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. By interpreting Biblical prophecy alongside historical developments, the author argues that the geopolitical success and moral responsibilities of these nations are divinely ordained. The text examines various scriptural passages to trace the migration of the ancient tribes and their eventual emergence as leading world powers. It seeks to provide a comprehensive theological framework for understanding the shared heritage and future trajectory of the British Empire and America. This volume serves as a significant historical example of early 20th-century religious thought, reflecting a period when national identity and sacred texts were deeply intertwined in the quest for global purpose. "The Destiny of Britain and America" remains a key resource for those interested in the history of Anglo-Israelite theories and the development of national-religious narratives in the Western world. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
