Studies show that there are key barriers that can exist in the life of the leader that contribute to downfall and, if we desire to finish well, we must be aware of them. While leadership failure will continue to be a reality in our societies, there are key traits that we can identify and develop from those leaders who have finished well, who have left a legacy to contribute to the success of we who follow. The application of these characteristics, coupled with strong spiritual disciplines, is the focal point for all leaders who desire to finish well, and not be disqualified for service.
About the Author
J. Wade Thompson - International leadership consultant, missionary, author, minister and marketplace professional. He and his wife Linda currently reside in former East Germany, equipping believers and developing leaders in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA. Enabling people to fully activate their spiritual gifts, natural abilities and acquired skills so they are enabled to fulfill his or her own God-given assignment in life is their primary goal. They have four children and ten grandchildren, and are founders of Destiny Leadership International, Inc. Wade holds a Master of Ministry in Christian Leadership from Southwestern Christian University in Bethany, Oklahoma. Wade also gained extensive experience as a manager, leader, executive and consultant in two major construction firms spanning 25 years. Wade and Linda each have 35 years of international and local church ministerial experience working on five continents of the world.
