xii, 390, viii, (to 860), viii, (to 1,274). Each of the three volumes is hardbound in matching 9x6 inch grey cloth boards decorated in black and gilt, and the group fits neatly in a slipcase. We believe that this set was purchased brand-new, then never opened to examine, as all three books handle rather stiffly. There are no photographs beyond the male and female captives shown on the box. Condition of the set in-hand, and its enclosing slipcase, is as-new: sound, clean, unmarked. Hilberg's landmark magnum opus on the Holocaust.
