Robertson. 1907 first edition. 132 pp. 9 x 6 . Hardcover. In fair condition, with light stains and discoloration to exterior. Glue repairs present on spine. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Assorted black-and-white images throughout. Ex-library from the French Library of San Francisco, with various markings, stampings, and labels. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A rare on the destruction caused by the San Francisco Earthquake of 1906, along with the structural reforms needed to prevent future tragedies in the area. A scarce early post-earthquake printing in the city, having been produced a year after the disaster.
